Quotes
“Our secret sauce at Movista is that we were the first to market on mobile and we give a single user interface to field teams.” – Stan Zylowski, (8:52)
“I sometimes say we took the dirt road so others can take the superhighway, and that’s great. That’s totally fine. We learned a lot of lessons along the way, but hopefully, we left a lot of breadcrumbs to help people follow the path.” – Stan Zylowski, (12:21)
“It’s about giving back, and the last anchor, the bedrock of the whole thing, is let’s have fun. We have to be here. We have to work. Let’s make it fun. So yeah we’ve lost some deals, but we’ve never lost a party.” – Stan Zylowski, (35:25)
“What I love about Northwest Arkansas is that any company you can think of would be able to be started here. Everyone that has products signed to Walmart, when they send people here, they don’t send the drags, they send the best and brightest…It’s this crazy combination of wealth gained in a conservative way.” – Stan Zylowski, (39:30)

Inspiring Excellence with a Winning Culture
At the heart of Movista, you’ll find a team whose culture is fueled by the desire to make the lives of their customers easier while also having fun. Their core values are based on innovation, a service-first mentality, positivity, agility, responsibility and excellence. They operate off of the mindset that their success is defined by the customer’s success. Likewise, fun, laughter and joy are always invited into their workplace in an effort for their peers to see them as assets to the business.
“It’s about giving back, and the last anchor, the bedrock of the whole thing, is let’s have fun. We have to be here. We have to work. Let’s make it fun. So yeah we’ve lost some deals, but we’ve never lost a party.” – Stan Zylowski, (35:25)
Furthermore, Movista and its employees strive to improve themselves daily and have no interest in being ordinary. Being exceptional is the expectation. Although high standards form the foundation of Movista, its beliefs are effective in motivating employees to proactively seek to aid others and take responsibility for their work. No matter the situation, Movista team members always do what is needed to deliver a best-in-class product or experience and focus on actively utilizing creativity.
Fostering Talent in the Community
One thing Movista is intent on doing is giving back to the community, whether it be community service or collaborating with the next generation of workers through various local programs. Movista has worked with kids in Ignite, a Bentonville school program, and it offers internships through the University of Arkansas. Moreover, it welcomes anyone who wants to shadow employees for the day.
Movista also does its best to stay involved in the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Bentonville by being tapped into local businesses or providing funding. At the beginning of each year, Movista sets a goal to complete five thousand hours of community service and to give at least ten thousand dollars in donations. All of Movista’s community work is done to help cultivate the next wave of talented workers that are already located in Bentonville.
